My Story
I came from a retail clothing background, working as a multi-site manager for 27 years when I was made redundant. I was particularly interested in the jewellery industry because I am a bit of a magpie and am immediately drawn to anything sparkly!
I always wanted to be a geologist as my grandad travelled the world and used to bring back rocks for me to collect, so working in a jewellers seemed the answer to a childhood dream!

Challenges in My Role
I keep up to date with jewellery trends via social media, particularly Instagram, and I’m always spotting ideas, which I then pass on to the team and customers.
My Proudest Moment
Having spent 40 years in retail, I’m able to bring experience and confidence in helping a customer find the perfect piece of jewellery for them.
What Makes Forum Special?
Every member of the team goes over and above what is expected when dealing with customers, and I think that is what makes Forum special. It’s a great team to be part of. I love it when someone brings in a family heirloom that is never worn and we are able to transform it into a beautiful piece of wearable jewellery.
My Favourite Piece
I’m very lucky to own my favourite piece of jewellery from Forum – a stunning 18ct White Gold ½ carat Diamond necklace, which I saved up for and then my husband made up the balance. I adore it. I’ve now got my eye on a very beautiful 18ct Rose Gold Morganite and Diamond ring!
