Spring 2020 Forum Newsletter
Welcome to our
Our Spring newsletter is a bit earlier this year but that’s because we are really feeling the love for Valentine’s!
Did you know 2020 is a Leap Year? It is traditional on 29th February that any woman can propose to a man rather than wait for it to happen the other way round. So, we are having a bit of fun with our ‘Will He or Should She’ campaign on social media! Read more about it in this newsletter.
We’ve got beautiful engagement and eternity rings as well as a stunning range of jewellery to show your beloved just how much you love them on the most romantic day of the year. We’ve even made some suggestions for you.
Our popular brand Nomination are running a fantastic offer perfect for Valentines, take a look at the back cover for details.
Don’t forget to enter our competition – it’s very easy and you could win a £100 Forum Gift Voucher!
Making golden memories
Mrs W brought in an assortment of gold necklaces and rings and asked if we could repurpose them into two rings. We suggested melting them all down and created two beautiful new gold bands which Mrs W is enjoying wearing before passing them to her two daughters.
Do you have any old jewellery that could be repurposed into something to treasure?
Pop in and see us in-store or call us on 01202 600350 for a chat.
We have really enjoyed fundraising for the fantastic Forest Holme Hospice throughout 2019 and are very proud to announce that our Grand Total was over £5,500!
Thank you to everyone for your generosity who donated either through sponsoring Deanna for her Wing Walk, buying raffle tickets at our Pearls & Prosecco and Dine with Diamonds evenings or popping coins in our collecting pots in-store.
We are so happy to introduce Wendy Bowen who joined our team in September. She comes to us from a highly experienced background in fashion retailing and has taken to jewellery like a duck to water!
She says: “I love working at Forum, it’s a really nice atmosphere, the staff and customers are really friendly, and every day is different. The sparkly jewellery is my favourite – I swear I must have been a magpie in a previous life!”
- Cake or Chocolate – Definitely plain chocolate – the darker, the better.
- Greece or Turkey – My favourite destination of all time is Turkey, we’ve been there many times.
- Night Out or Night In – We have a large group of friends and really enjoy a good night out!
- Cats or Dogs – We have two cats, Sookie who arrived out of nowhere when we moved house and Tiggy.
