Founded in 1987 by Carola and Nils Eckrodt and grown year on year since then, the COEUR DE LION brand stands for colour indulgence, a love of life and democratic luxury that is affordable for many people. Already in the founding year, Carola and Nils presented their first creations made from industrial parts at the Avantgarde in Munich. The Dusseldorf couturier Hanns Friedrichs, who became a style icon as designer for Joan Collins, bought the entire fledgling collection. Some ten years later, Carola created a timeless design classic with her ‘dice chain’, which has since received international attention as GEOCUBE®.
