Bespoke Engagement Ring
Kirsty contacted us having heard about us from the radio ad as she was looking for someone to make a bespoke engagement ring similar to a design she had seen in a photograph. After contacting a few different places, Kirsty felt the communication and support from staff at Forum Jewellers was outstanding and the perfect place to have her design made.

She particularly liked the ornate layered design using platinum as its base which is the ideal metal for an engagement ring.
When Kirsty came in store, we set about establishing what size diamond. We then created a computer aided design image to help her visualise what the final piece would look like.

With such intricate detail involved and because she was worried about the size of the ring, Kirsty felt it was really difficult to visualise the ring from the CAD so we arranged for a wax model to be made. This was much more effective in assuring Kirsty that the ring would be the perfect design and fit.

In the meantime, we set about sourcing a diamond that matched Kirsty’s wishlist. Once Kirsty saw the wax model, it was an easy decision for her to give the go ahead for the ring to be made so the diamond was purchased and the designer began to create this truly beautiful piece.
In total, there are 139 diamonds: 1 x 6mm in the centre, 2 x 1.4mm on the petals, 12 x 1.25mm and 124 x 0.85mm that decorate the petals and shoulders. There’s a very good reason they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend! Take a look at the sparkle on this beauty.
THE RING!
When we presented the ring to Kirsty, she was speechless! We hope she has a lifetime of happiness wearing it.
